"The government is delighted with this project because the municipality of Yendi contributes in particular to the agricultural sector by the production of large-scale food and commercial crops and the presence of deposits of iron ore in the catchment area. The supply of drinking water would therefore be an impetus to increase production and increase mining potential, "he said.

He said the scope of this water supply project would include the construction of a conventional water treatment plant of 15,000 m3 / day (3.3 MDG), construction of pipelines 25 km transport, construction of a water pumping station, extension of distribution networks, about 50 km.

He revealed that the duration of the expansion of the Yendi water supply project is expected to last 30 months.

"As a government, we expect the peaceful air that is now blowing in Yendi after the success of the road map to help speed up the implementation of this project for the citizens of the region. Other development projects are planned in the region and will be announced later, "he pontificated.
