"I do not usually talk about ex-girlfriends. But Betty's special, "Reynolds tweeted. "Happy birthday to you alone, @BettyMWhite."

Last year, Reynolds celebrated White's birthday with a cheeky Instagram message showing his mercenary in red leather costume holding a hot dog and a martini, thus bringing "another year of" Tinis and Weenies ".

The lovebirds previously co-starred in the 2009 romantic comedy Proposal, where Reynolds played a slave wizard pushed into the false marriage of his dominant boss (Sandra Bullock) to prevent his deportation to his native Canada.

Reynolds also mentioned White's name on her 94th birthday in 2016 when she shared a dead Pool TV spot, tweeting"Betty White was born 94 years ago today. Some time later, this film was made. Coincidence?"

White appeared later in a special promotion of 2016 dead Pool, innocently pouring profuse praise on the R-rated anti-superhero blockbuster awarded "Four Golden Girls".

The ad above ends with White sitting on the lap of a dead Pool the traveler standing – reading "sit on it" – and raising an enthusiastic thumb.

The actress and actress, known as the "First Lady of Television" for maintaining the longest television career of any artist, was honored at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards in September, where Mary Tyler Moore Show star joked about his longevity.

"Someone said something the other day about the TV's first lady, and I took that as a big compliment," White said.

"And then I heard her talking to her daughter a little later and she said," First lady, she's so old. She was the first to come back! & # 39;

White then reflects on his career of more than 70 years and adds: "It's amazing that I'm still in this sector and you continue to support me … It's amazing that you can stay in a career so long and still people support you. I wish they did that at home. "
