Kwame Sefa-Kayi refuses a job at GFA

A former Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) journalist of the year, Kwame Sefa-Kayi has refused an appointment from the Ghana Football Association on its communication and promotion committee..

m Sefa-Kayi declined the appointment announced Monday in a letter to the Standards Committee currently serving in Ghana.

The broadcaster challenged the appointment method as it was not consulted during the process, a GFA source told Graphic Online.

He also said in his letter that there would be more competent people in the field of sports journalism and football that should have been taken into account for the post.

Another journalist, Paul Adom Otchere, is head of the Committee on Communication and Promotion. Ekow Asmah is his deputy.
