The Liverpool superstar has done great things since leaving Stamford Bridge, but Mourinho does not think he has made a mistake in letting him go.
Jose Mourinho rejected accusations that he mismanaged the talents of a young Mohamed Salah in Chelsea, claiming he was one of the most fervent admirers of the Liverpool star.
Salah was signed by Mourinho's Chelsea, from Basel, at the age of 21, after impressing in his youth at the Swiss club.
His time at Stamford Bridge however did not meet expectations, as he had only fleeting first-team opportunities with the manager before leaving the club for Rome just over 18 months later, in the summer 2015.

Since then, Salah has imposed himself as one of the best attackers in the world. He led Liverpool to the Champions League final in 2017-18 and earned sixth place in the Ball of the Golden Ball, eventually won by Luka Modric.
But Mourinho thinks it 's unfair to accuse him of wasting the talents of the Egyptian.
