Ariana Grande debuted with the new song "7 Rings" – and it's a modern version of "Favorite Things" by The sound of music
The new offer stems directly from "Thank U, Next" and comes with a video that shows Ariana and her closest friends at a typically sumptuous party.
While the champagne flows between the singer and her friends, the title sees her discussing the fact that global success has allowed her to appreciate the finer things.
"Yes, breakfast at Tiffany's and bottles of bubbles. Tattooed girls who like to get in trouble. Eyelashes and diamonds, ATMs. Buy me all my favorite things (yes). "
But there is no trace of egoism, as she then explains how her separation from Pete Davidson means she is now treating her friends instead.
"Wear a ring, but do not be a" Mrs. "Buy matching diamonds for six of my bitches, I'd rather spoil all my friends with my wealth."
In fact, that's exactly what she did. Recently, during a Q & A session on Twitter, Grande explained how the song was inspired by a trip she had made to New York with six of her closest friends.
Explaining how her friends Vic, Courtney, Alexa, Tayla, Njomza and Kaydence all received a ring, she wrote, "Well ………….
