Vorm was close to Dembele when he was in Spurs.
Michel Vorm described Mousa Dembele as one of the "best players" with whom he played in a heartfelt message on Instagram after the midfielder left Tottenham Hotspur to join the Guangzhou R & R team. F of the Chinese Super League.
Dembele, 31, has been injured in the ankle in the last 11 Premier League matches. The probabilities that the Belgian international, which counts 82 times, wins a new contract deteriorating by the minute.

Vorm, who joined the Spurs in 2014, two years after Dembele's departure, posted an emotional message on his Instagram account in honor of Dembele's arrival in Asia with a series of photos of both players.
By joining the Londoners of the North in 2012, Dembele recorded 249 appearances in all competitions. He had scored only 10 midfield goals, but Dembele was certainly loved by the Spurs fans.
The season of the Chinese Super League 2019 is scheduled to start on March 1st. The league runs from March to November, instead of the system from August to May in England.

It remains to be seen if the Spurs will replace Dembele. The club has not recruited a single player since it recruited Lucas Moura from Paris Saint Germain nearly a year ago.
