Wes Nelson revealed that his girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson and his Dancing On Ice partner, Vanessa Bauer, ended their enmity with a phone call.
The Love Island star said that he "completely" supported his girlfriend as a result of her extraordinary speech on Instagram – in which she accused Vanessa of being "disrespectful" and of having used her separation of Wes's boyfriend, Louis Nathaniel, as publicity.
But Wes claims that she was only criticized when her fans accused her of appearing unhappy while watching him play Sunday.
"There is a lot of pressure for Megs, it's over, they've talked to each other, they're happy," he said today at Heart's breakfast show. FM.
"Meg suffered a lot, she came to support me, encourage me, then was absolutely nailed to do it," he continued.
"The explosion with Vanessa was the result of many negative reviews."
He refused to take inspiration from what was said, insisting "I do not even know what they talked about, I just let the women talk with their wives."
However, he said that his loyalty went to Megan – who was not sorry at all.
"She said" I would have liked to be able to have her privately privately. "She does not apologize, that's what she feels, I will not argue. I will support my girlfriend, "he said.
"I do not want to mess up with the show or with my girlfriend, we understand what's going on, they talked, we solved the problem"
And he fought back against DOI pro Matt Evers, who accused Megan of having "bitter" looks in the audience.
"I think it was unfair to be fair. The fact that he thought it was a screen shot of a two-hour show – a millisecond of a two-hour show that does not smile is the one that says, "Oh, she was bading ", did he declare.
"She was laughing and joking all the time, watching her all the time, laughing and joking."
