Chelsea is on the verge of concluding an impressive double contract while a midfielder from Zenit St. Petersburg is about to join the club, according to a report.
Various media now claim that striker Gonzalo Higuain will complete his move to Stamford Bridge imminently, with a medical set for the next 48 hours.
The Telegraph announced Thursday that Chelsea had officially offered to take Higuain on loan for the remainder of the season, with the option of buying it in the summer or lending it another 12 months, an agreement that Juventus sanctioned.
Higuain was sacked after Milan defeated Juventus against Supercoppa, which the club claimed was a fever, fueling speculation that a move was planned.
Argentina currently has an 18 million euro loan from AC Milan with a purchase obligation of 36 million euros, but it seems that all the problems related to the transaction are about to to be resolved.
It may not be the only Argentina to move to the Blues this month, as Leandro Paredes is also moving closer to a move in West London.
according to l 'Express, tAged 24, he will sign for £ 31 million and will be Maurizio Sarri's replacement, Cesc Fabregas, who joined Monaco last week.
Paredes cost Zenit £ 24 million last year and was apparently Chelsea's alternative after failing to persuade Cagliari to sell Nicola Barella.
