The third edition of Turkey Expo Qatar ended yesterday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
The Turkey Expo Qatar board member, Atilla Kurucayirli, said the exhibition had registered property sales worth 200 million Turkish lira.
He added that fruitful meetings had taken place during the three-day exhibition between participating Turkish companies, investors and visitors interested in Turkish companies. It has also been signed by 48 agreements and 68 memoranda of understanding in various areas of trade.
Kurucayirli pointed out that the participating real estate companies at the show aroused great interest among Qataris and Turks living in Qatar, noting that the exhibition was very successful and aroused keen interest from investors in Qatar.
The exhibition is part of the efforts of both countries to consolidate cooperation and establish joint investments to increase the volume of trade.
Bilateral meetings and meetings were held on the sidelines of the show, with the aim of consolidating the commercial partnership between the government and the private sector of the two countries.
Some 120 Turkish companies took part in the exhibition to present their services in various fields, including real estate, building materials, food, medical tourism, textiles, clothing, and more. furnishing and decoration, as well as several companies specializing in advanced technologies, programming and information. The investment volume of Turkish companies in Qatar is $ 16 billion.
And Qatar is the second largest foreign investor in Turkey with $ 20 billion in investments in various sectors including agriculture, tourism, real estate and banks.
The number of Turkish companies operating in Qatar with Qatari and Turkish joint stock is 242, while the number of Turkish companies operating in Qatar with 100% Turkish capital is about 26.
