gA revolutionary stem cell therapy that has allowed Jack Nicklaus to play golf again after years of back pain could help Andy Murray, say the scientists.

Nicklaus 78 revealed last year that he had been involved in an experimental procedure of taking stem cells from his abdomen and inserting them into the lower back.

Before the treatment, he could not stand more than 10 minutes or swing a golf club, but after the 90-minute procedure, Nicklaus was back on the golf course a week later, without pain.

The treatment was developed by Sanford Health, the largest nonprofit rural health care company in the United States, which has received much of its research funding from billionaire philanthropist Denny Sanford ….
