Jurgen Klopp will not adopt a siege mentality in his quest for the Premier League title in Liverpool, saying: "I even know Evertonians who want us to win the league."
The boss of Anfield does not understand why neutral supporters would like the Reds to be lagging behind as they pursue a first world champion title since 1990.
Klopp has the feeling that anyone desperately looking to be satisfied to see someone else fail, and that hostility is not a source of motivation for his side.
"I like to win because of victory and not because someone else has to lose," he said.

"I can not take a personal boost after winning and thinking I lost. I'm not like that. If people think like that and get something out of the fact that we will not win the league, I support it.
"I can not use them to motivate because they are not people who interest me to be honest.
"It's a waste of time for me to think of someone who is losing something." If you win it, you win it and you deserve it. Congratulations, keep going. That's how I see it.
