The three singles on the album featured cameos, with "Tyrant" aided by Jorja Smith, "Nuestro Planeta" with Reykon and "After the Storm" with a cameo from Tyler, The Creator and Bootsy Collins.
NME has given the album five stars, with one criticism: "Each song of" Isolation "has a sound very different from the previous one, but Uchis turns out to be the constant, pulling and manipulating the strings in the right places."
The singer spoke with NME about the release of the album and talked about challenging her enemies and working with some of the biggest names in music.
"I met people who did not really believe in me and felt that I was not going anywhere in my life," she said. "I've always been someone who, unwittingly or unwillingly, draws attention to myself, sometimes in a negative way. It made me strong and fast.
Speaking of working with Albarn, the singer admitted, "I am a big fan of Gorillaz. I think Blur was a little before my time. "
