Eleven championship clubs have complained to the EFL of Leeds spying on opposition teams, confirmed the ruling body.

The head coach of Leeds, Marcelo Bielsa, admitted to having spied on other teams of the Sky Bet Championship, after a member of his staff was caught red handed by Derby last week.

The English Football League (EFL) and the Football Association are investigating the case and many Leeds rivals have contacted EFL to voice their concerns.

An EFL spokesman said: "The EFL has received a communication on behalf of a number of championship clubs concerning the case involving Leeds United.

"The application attributed to 11 clubs will be considered as part of the ongoing investigation that has begun."
