James Milner confirmed at the right back and Naby Keita in the middle of the field

Naby Keita had the chance to shine in the clash of the Premier League in Liverpool with Crystal Palace at Anfield.

The Guinean midfielder, who has been on the sidelines of Jurgen Klopp's squad in recent weeks, made his league debut since winning the Wolves before Christmas.

Keita gets the nod in front of Xherdan Shaqiri, who goes to the bench.

This is one of three changes to the team that won in Brighton last weekend.

Joel Matip has completely recovered from a broken collarbone and will play for the first time since he was injured against Napoli in the Champions League last month.

The former Schalke defender will be alongside Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho will resume his usual Liverpool midfielder role.

There is also a reminder for James Milner, who will play on the right back in the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is absent for a knee problem. Gini Wijnaldum is also excluded with the knee injury suffered in Brighton.

With Manchester City playing only Sunday, the Reds will have a seven-point lead in the standings if they beat Palace.
