Derby County Odds: Martyn Waghorn impresses when Duane Holmes scores Rams first goal

Derby County has returned to victories at the Pride Park Stadium of the Sky Bet Championship this afternoon.

After three consecutive draws at home in the league, Derby had another stalemate against Southampton in the FA Cup.

But Harry Wilson and Duane Holmes won the Rams 2-1 win over Reading today.

Holmes gave the advantage to Frank Lampard's men in the space of three minutes and Wilson's deflected shot – his 12th of the season – followed five minutes before the break.

Sone Aluko scored a setback for the Royals threatened with relegation in the second half, but Derby saw the match cancel to win his first win in 2019 and keep them in the playoff phase.

Derbyshire Live Chief Football Writer Steve Nicholson was at Pride Park this afternoon to distribute his player ratings below.
