Paris Saint-Germain suffers serious injury ahead of its match of the 16th round of the Champions League against Manchester United next month
Midfielder Marco Verratti was injured in the 9-0 Ligue 1 win over Guingamp with a foot injury.
The 26-year-old Italian international fell after a challenge from Guingamp defender Felix Eboa Eboa and went straight into the Parc des Princes tunnel.
PSG director Thomas Tuchel was quick to ensure that no further damage would be caused by telling Julian Draxler's bench to prepare.
The French champions have recently been shaken by injuries. Lateral back Dani Alves started in midfield against Guingamp.
United was against PSG in the Champions League after finishing second in group H in the group stage of the competition, two points behind Juventus.
The Reds have returned to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since Jose Mourinho was sacked on Dec. 18, winning seven of seven victories.
Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford were in goal for United's last win – a 2-1 home victory over Brighton.
The three points allowed the Reds to reduce the four-point lead in the Premier League after Chelsea's loss to Arsenal at Emirates.
It was Pogba's fifth goal under the tutelage of Solskja and his fourth successful campaign penalty kickout.
The French international has presented his unorthodox position for the penalty, and Solskjaer said he had no problem with the technique of the 25-year-old player – as long as he went.
"He scores them, so that's what matters," Solskjaer laughed. "I would not have done it I would have just run to the ball and hit him but he kept his composure after waiting two minutes to take it and that shows how well it is composed." In front of Stretford End why do not you just enjoy it. "
"Pogba is the penalty shooter, but we have players who want to take it," added Solskjaer. "If they want to take it, they can argue with each other, but it's him who's named."
