Stranger things Executive Producer Shawn Levy and Netflix Bring a Restart of Real Long-time Crime Show Unresolved mysteries, diffused between 1987 and 2010.
Levy will work with the original production company Cosgrove-Meurer Productions on the paranormal documentary series, wrote Deadline.

The new series will feature 12 episodes, following the original format of the documentary, and will focus on unexplained crimes, missing persons and paranormal events.
What will be different this time is that each episode will be developed around a mystery, while the original series proposed many cases at the same time.
The original producers of the criminal TV series have long sought to revive the series and they feel that Netflix is the perfect place for them.
The order of the new paranormal series is the latest collaboration between Levy and the streaming platform after two extremely successful seasons. Strange things.

Although Levy initially planned to finish the series after the fourth season, he then revealed that a fifth season was still possible.

Talk to EWLevy said at the time: "We could hear hearts crashing at Netflix headquarters when the brothers rang four seasons as an official end and I suddenly received calls from our agents' agents.
"The truth is we are definitely going four seasons [sic] and there is a lot of possibility of a fifth. Beyond that, it becomes very improbable, he added.
Strange things Seasons 1 and 2 are available on Netflix. SEason 3 returns to Netflix on July 4, 2019.
