A third wrote: "@ThePeakyBlinder Omg can not wait until Tommy and everyone comes back to the screen gives the impression that Series 4 will come out of the water!"

Season 4 of Peaky Blinders was a resounding success as the drama intensified and left viewers an explosive final episode. Tommy Shelby is even elected Member of Parliament for Birmingham South.

The series ended when the Shelby family finally confronted mafia boss Luca Changretta (Adrien Brody). The fifth follow-up should focus on the deterioration of Tommy's mental health when the drama returns to BBC One in the summer of 2019.

But now that the show has finished shooting in January 2019, could the release date be advanced?

Arthur Shelby of Paul Anderson will also have political contacts in Season 5 – could they use their new power to further manipulate their environment?

BBC Drama released its trailer for 2019 earlier this month and unveiled some scenes from the new series.

The BBC trailer teased Whitehall in the new series, where Tommy will become a politician with the vision to change Britain forever.

However, in a fraction of a second, it appeared that Tommy could have been flat with a co-star after his car was blown up.

Moments later, in what appears to be the same scene with the fire flickering on the side of the car on fire, Tommy clings to what appears to be the dead friend or family member who was lying beside him.

Did Tommy survive the blast, but lost a close relative or colleague during a targeted attack?

According to the official photographs of the BBC, Finn Shelby (Harry Kirton) is the victim of the blast.

Finn is the youngest brother of Tommy and Arthur, and this is not the first time he has been involved in a car bomb.

There is no broadcast date for Peaky Blinders yet, but is expected anywhere between the summer and the fall of this year.
