The industry has achieved a net production increase of 164 billion cubic meters, representing the strongest growth in production since 2010, according to research by Rystad Energy.

The world's weakest annual growth was observed during the 2015-2016 cycle, when global gas production increased by only 12 billion cubic meters. It is also the only period in which North America experienced a reduction in gas production compared to the previous year.
