On Thursday, Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Joseph Baena, showed how close he was to his famous father.
In a picture taken at the gym, Baena flexed her muscles wearing only black shorts and gray sneakers. Putting his arms outward, the 21-year-old restored the clbadic Schwarzenegger pose from 1976 onwards.
"Just a little," Baena told the whole body shot on Instagram.
The original photo, inspired by Baena's pose, was taken just after Schwarzenegger, 71, won Mr. Olympia for the sixth time in a row in 1975.
In total, the legendary bodybuilder has won the competition seven times, according to bodybuilding.com.
The followers of Baena could not help but notice the similarities between the father-son duo and how much he looked like Schwarzenegger.
"Dude, we literally see a Mr Olympia," wrote an Instagram user.
"I see a new terminator," joked another, referring to his father's iconic role as a killer robot in The terminator franchise. "It's time to restart the movie."
But this is not the first time that fans marvel at the resemblance between them.
Baena – who is Schwarzenegger's son with Mildred Baena, his former housekeeper with whom he had an affair – frequently shares his fitness program and his progress on Instagram, which often draws attention to their similar appearance.
In November, Baena saw her physique at the gym. Wearing a cut-off yellow shirt and black shorts in the video, he flexed his muscles and hinted that his bodybuilding progress was just the beginning of his fitness routine.
