The police gave Prince Philip a conversation after being spotted driving his car without a seatbelt just days after his car accident.
The 97-year-old Royal was quick to get back on the road less than 48 hours after his Land Rover hit a Kia and rolled to the side.
Emma Fairweather, grandmother of two children, had her arm broken while her friend was injured in the smash, near the Sandringham Estate.
Fortunately, a nine-month-old baby was not injured.
Prince Philip was back at the wheel on Saturday afternoon, but the police were forced to speak to him after photos of him were revealed without the legality of the seatbelt.
A Norfolk police spokeswoman said the police were aware of the photos and that "proper advice was given to the driver".
Buckingham Palace did not comment.
Prince Philip told the witnesses of the crash Thursday afternoon that he had been "dazzled by the sun".
In the last photographs, he could be seen wearing sunglbades to protect him from any potential glare.
His beloved Land Rover was wrecked in the accident after "forcibly sinking on the road" on the A149 in Babingley, Norfolk.
However, a replacement Land Rover Freelander was delivered to the duke the day after the accident and he clearly could not wait to test the new wheels.
Buckingham Palace confessed yesterday that Philip had been taken to the hospital on the advice of a doctor.
He reportedly left the scene after the accident and the investigation confirmed that he had "no serious injury".
Today, pbadenger Emma Fairweather has asked that the royal be sued and said that he had not apologized for the accident.
This occurs despite the fact that the palace was sent by the Duke "his best wishes".

Despite his age and hip replacement surgery last year, Philip does not seem to have lasting problems after the collision.
A source said: "The Duke's routine in the coming days will continue normally".
