AC Milan is about to finalize a £ 30.9m contract with Genoa for Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek, which will trigger Gonzalo Higuain's move to Chelsea.
Argentina's Higuain was not selected for the Milan match against Genoa on Monday.
Its director, Gennaro Gattuso, said the 31-year-old had achieved "one of the worst training sessions" he's seen.

Piatek's move will allow Gonzalo Higuain to lead a long run to Chelsea
Higuain must have his medical records in Chelsea earlier this week, which will allow Alvaro Morata to join Atletico Madrid.
The boss of Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri, has long held a meeting with the striker, who played for him during his stay in Naples.
During their season together, Higuain scored 38 goals in 42 games, in all competitions.
Chelsea should then send forward Alvaro Morata to the Liga Atletico Madrid club
