The newly elected President of Madagascar, Mr. Andry Nirina Rajoelina, congratulated President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo Dankwa for the impressive way in which he has run the country's affairs over the past two years, thus making Ghana the world's leading country. one of the most dynamic economies in Africa, but in the world.

This, he explained, could be attributed to the sound economic policies pursued by President Akufo-Addo and his government, and calls for closer cooperation and a closer friendship between Ghana and Madagascar during the presidential term. Akufo-Addo and himself.

Expressing his admiration for President Akufo-Addo on his vision of a Ghana Beyond Aid, Mr. Rajoelina again congratulated the President of Ghana for deciding to locate an industrial facility in all parts of the country, to ensure access to education for all Ghanaian children and to ensure that Ghana becomes self-sufficient in food production.

He stressed that all these efforts were efforts and measures put in place by President Akufo-Addo to put Ghana on the path of progress and prosperity.

He therefore declared himself ready to deepen relations between the two countries in the mutual interest of both peoples.

President Akufo-Addo's response

In response, President Akufo-Addo congratulated President Rajoelina on his badumption of the high office of President of the Republic of Madagascar, and wished him good luck again.

He also congratulated President Rajoelina for his decision to restructure the Malagasy economy of "strong growth" and to set up an independent body, similar to the Office of the Special Prosecutor of Ghana, charged with combating corruption in Madagascar.

President Akufo-Addo also badured President Rajoelina of Ghana's unflinching solidarity with Madagascar and pledged to do his best to strengthen the ties of cooperation, friendship and trade between the two countries.
