Hainan Airlines launches its second service to Dublin on February 25, connecting the Irish capital to its growing hub in Shenzhen.
The new biweekly service was announced on Friday, January 18th, and its launch is expected about eight months after the first service of the Chinese company in Dublin. took off in June last year as part of its triangular route Beijing-Dublin-Edinburgh-Beijing.
Flying non-stop between Shenzhen and Dublin, the service will take off Mondays and Fridays. Flight HU755 leaves Shenzhen at 01:30 and arrives in Dublin at 07:00 on the same day, while flight HU756 leaves Dublin at 09:00 and lands in Shenzhen at 05:30 the next day.
The good news for travelers is that Hainan Airlines will be piloting one of its latest aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, on the road ahead, although it is not known which of the two configurations of the company airline will operate the service.
This is especially important for those traveling in the business clbad cabin. The company's older 787-9s feature a cabin with forward-facing seats arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration.
