Broly's Tease Super Saiyan Green?

Dragon Ball Super: Broly has shaken the foundations of the foundation as a whole, not only because it introduces Broly and Gogeta into the official canon of the series, but also because of the potential for future narratives it presents.

A potential theory has attracted the attention of fans as it suggests that a "Super Saiyan Green" transformation could be underway.

Warning! Major spoilers for Dragon Ball Super: Broly below!

When the battle of Vegeta with Broly reaches a new level, Vegeta becomes Super Saiyan. But before he turns, his hair turns into a strange green color. It's not like Broly's aura, but it's rather a Seafoam green that pops up a moment before Vegeta's successful transformation of Super Saiyan. As theorized Geekdom 101 and Kendamu on YouTube (which you can find on this link), this particular green is so pronounced that it is possible that Vegeta is exploiting the same type of power as Broly.

Before Broly turns into Super Saiyan in the film, he exploits an intermediate transformation in which he exploits the power of the Saiyans' great ape shape. Without his tail, he is allowed to acquire this power while retaining his humanoid form, which gives him a green aura. The brief moment of Vegeta's green hair might be a subtle hint that Vegeta also has this latent power.

There is another moment that seems to put more emphasis on this fact when Goku turns into Super Saiyan Blue for the first time. Pushing beyond Super Saiyan God, his aura becomes green like Broly's. This eventually leads to Super Saiyan blue, but this color was noticeable and too pronounced to be completely ignored. Now the film itself is pushing a lot of limits in terms of animation of the franchise and therefore plays with its color scheme.

These strange links with "Super Saiyan Green" will probably only be another way Dragon Ball Super: Broly plays with his art. But on the other hand, Dragon Ball saw Super Saiyans with yellow hair, pink hair, red hair, blue hair, silver hair, and green hair. It may well be that there is a "Super Saiyan Green" before we know it. Maybe even the canon version of Super Saiyan 4?

Dragon Ball Super: Broly is now open in theaters around the world and already has a longer life than raw Dragonball: Evolution. Funimation brought the film to the United States on January 16th and tickets for the film are now on sale. You can read the film-free review of the film by ComicBook.com here, and Dragon Ball Super: Broly is described as such:
