The family of Ahmed Suale-Hussein, an investigative journalist shot dead on January 16, 2019, said he was killed by people who wanted to continue looting the country's resources and scamming them.
They appealed to civil society groups, security agencies, journalists and foreign missions in the country to help solve the mystery of his badbadination.

At a press conference held on Sunday in Madina, Accra, the family also called on the government and security agencies to spare no effort to convince the perpetrators of these acts.
The family took advantage of the press conference to thank the people and groups who had found time to complain after the killing of Suale-Hussein.
A spokesman for the family, Mustapha Iddrisu, said family members were ready and willing to cooperate and work with security agencies to get to the bottom of things.

"The family is pursuing this case in order to help the Ghanaian people avoid that other well-meaning Ghanaians, whose photographs have been shown next to our son's, are avoided.
"We call on the right people in Ghana to take their personal safety seriously, taking into account strange and unusual movements and events in and around their homes, neighborhoods, communities and cities," said Iddrisu.

Suale-Hussein was a key member of Tiger Eye PI, the investigative team of the journalist infiltrated Ace Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
He was shot three times by unidentified motorcyclists – twice in the chest and once on his neck – as he was returning home to Madina, Accra, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
His badbadination was largely condemned by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Ghana Association of Journalists (GJA), the United Nations (UN), Amnesty International, among others, and the public.
Critical
Mr. Agyapong had criticized the work of Tiger Eye PI and called on people to beat the team members, including Suale-Hussein.
It was after the presentation by the legislator of a video titled "Who's watching the guardian", in which he presented what he perceived as alleged corruption of the PI Tiger Eye team? .
The first also revealed the identity and pbadport of some members of the Tiger Eye IP team, including Suale-Hussein.
But Mr. Agyapong denied any involvement in Suale-Hussein's death, saying he had no reason to kill the journalist.
Threats
According to the family, Suale-Hussein began to receive death threats immediately after the cover and photos and pbadport were made public.
"Right after that, Suale began to receive death threats and strange events around him and his environment. the events that led him to make several reports to the police administration; an act that never saved him from the cruel hands of his attackers, "said Iddrisu.

Mr. Agyapong's video was a reaction to an investigative article by Tiger Eye PI entitled "Number 12": "When Misconduct and Greed Become the Norm".
The screening of Anas' video at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on June 6, 2018, had to be interrupted several times to appease the "onlookers" of spectators who were visibly shocked by the ease with which the investigating team bribed referees, match commissioners and officials of the Ghana Football Federation (GFA), the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
