The winners list of the Royal Rumble match reads like a Who's Who of the fight over the last thirty years. Hulk Hogan. Ric Flair. Bret Hart. Steve Austin. Shawn Michaels Rock. John Cena. Triple H. This week we are going to look at some of the men who have failed. They have never won a Royal Rumble match, even though their contributions to the event over the years have been considerable. These Superstars had to find other ways to make an impact, and they managed to make their way.

Everyone had a price for the Millon Dollar Man, including Akeem. The African dream took 30th place in the 1989 Royal Rumble, but agreed to sell it to DiBiase at the right price. Ted's plan almost worked, because he ended up being the last man eliminated by the return of Big John Studd.
DiBiase was punished for this shameless act at the Royal Rumble of 1990, where he was forced to enter the front row. Show had the biggest bad luck among the players to participate in a Royal Rumble. He scored twelve and finished twice in second place. The guy went to work in 2000 because it was obvious to anyone who was paying attention that Rock's feet had hit the ground first. Obvious for everyone except referees, of course. Rock even admitted years later! He also finished finalist in 2004, in front of a guy whose name does not even appear in the WWE anymore. Just think that if the WWE had let Show win that year, she could have avoided a lot of clumsiness in the annual Royal Rumble statistics video.
From the point of view of kayfabe, it's a hoax. Big Show is the biggest man in WWE for twenty years now. It defies the laws of logic that the biggest dog in the fight did not win one of those things, right?
