Danilo denies that Liverpool FC are under intense pressure in Man City in the next two matches

Danilo denies that Manchester City now has a golden opportunity to put pressure on rivals Liverpool.

The Blues had to play twice a day or two after the leaders of the Premier League, as they reduced the advance of the four-point Merseysiders by beating them nearly three weeks ago.

This meant that, before the games against Wolves and Huddersfield, the Blues had a seven-point lead as Liverpool beat both Brighton and Crystal Palace.

City handled the task with ease, winning two 3-0 wins and reducing his lead.

But the schedule of matches gives the kickoff, a Newcastle vs. Arsenal City home, the day before Liverpool's defeat against Leicester at home and West Ham, respectively.

That means the downs, if City wins both, will start the two games with one point up front at most, able to feel the hot breath of the champions on the back.

Danilo unleashed City's last win, deflecting the shot at John Smith's Stadium.

Although he admitted to looking for Liverpool's result after Saturday's practice, he understood the importance of playing first.

"If you want to win the Premier League, you have to win every week, so it does not depend on what Liverpool has done," he said.

"It's only natural that we look at their results. You have to watch your opponents and we are not happy with the result. Just keep going and win week after week.

"If Liverpool loses points, it will be good for us."
