With the update of January 17, 273 cards of the new set "Ravnicas Loyalty" were published in Magic: the gathering arena added. How does duplicate protection work?
- Booster Packs: If you open a rare or mythical card whose players already have four copies, the system automatically converts the card into another card. If all is complete, players will receive 20 rare card gems and 40 mythical card gems.
- Limited: Duplicate protection will not apply if a 14-card pack is open during a limited event; After draft or sealed, the system automatically converts superfluous copies of rare and mythical cards into gems.
- Single Card Rewards: If the reward is a rare or mythical card whose players already have four copies, the card is replaced by gems.
