The ballot papers for the Hall of Fame were due on December 31 at the latest. The results of the vote will be announced on Tuesday. The newly elected will be inducted on July 21 in Cooperstown, Pennsylvania.

Earlier Sunday, Trump tweeted congratulate the patriots for their CAF championship win over the Super Bowl leaders and appearance. He did not tweet about the Rams' victory over the Saints in the NFC championship.
Schilling, 52, is three-time winner of the World Series and six-time best player. He played for the Orioles, Astros, Red Sox, Phillies and Diamondbacks before retiring in 2009 after 20 seasons in the league. He has appeared on the newsletters of the Hall of Fame since 2013 but has not yet been inducted. Schilling did not get more than 52.3% support in six years.
Schilling is a declared conservative and a supporter of Trump who joined Breitbart in 2016. He was not invited to the Red Sox celebration of the World Series 2004 team. Schilling joined Mark Levin in his program "Life, Liberty & Levin" in an episode aired Sunday night.
