Ariana Grande beats 24-hour Spotify record for 7-ring games

Ariana Grande broke the all-time 24-hour Spotify record with nearly 15 million streams from its new track, "7 Rings".

"7 Rings", the Republic Republic star's latest hit, recorded the most games played on the platform ever seen in 24 hours. The track officially recorded 14,966,544 world games on Spotify on the first day, after its release on Friday 18 January.

Statistically, this figure is 4 million times higher than the previous 24-hour record, "All I Want for Christmas, It's You" by Mariah Carey – which drew 10,819,009 Spotify jets on December 24 during the holiday season 2018.
