According to the latest reports, Jan Siewert should be announced as the new director of Huddersfield Town, city in trouble.
The 36-year-old is currently coaching the second Dortmund team, a position occupied by David Wagner prior to his transfer to Huddersfield in 2015.
German publication Bild said last week that a compensatory allowance had been agreed between the two clubs above Siewert, which would be around € 300,000 (£ 264,000).
Wagner left the club last monday night, and the Terriers are down the Premier League with a relegation that seems more and more certain to the week.
However, the Telegraph indicates that Siewert "is about to agree on an agreement to take over" the Yorkshire party and "is currently negotiating the finishing touches with his lawyer".
President Dean Hoyle believes the new head coach will "galvanize the club after the difficult start of their second consecutive Premier League season," the report said.
Siewert is due to travel to Huddersfield on Monday and an official confirmation of his appointment is expected "soon".
