Nuno fined by FA after accepting the charge

Nuno was indicted by the UK football leadership after his field celebration after the Wolves' outstanding 4-3 win over Leicester City on Saturday.

The fine of £ 8,000 is the same as that inflicted on Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool boss, who sprinted into the central circle to celebrate a last-minute winner against Everton earlier this season.

Klopp was not ejected that day, but the same referee as for that match, Chris Kavanagh, sent Nuno out on Saturday.

The federation said: "Nuno Espírito Santo, director of the Wolves, was fined £ 8,000 after admitting a charge of misconduct and accepting the standard penalty.

"It concerned his behavior in the 93rd minute of the match against Leicester on 19 January 2019."

Nuno said about his offense after Saturday's match: "There is no explanation.

"After all the situations of the game, finishing the game and brings immense happiness to everyone in Molineux, I am no exception.

"The referee explained what had happened, it was clear and it was a good decision.

"You are not allowed out of your technical space, even to party.

"It's a very difficult moment, especially since the match was difficult."

"It's hard to contain your emotions – it's the law – it's already happened with other managers."
