WiC Watches: The Punisher season 2 by Corey Smith
The first season of American gods, an adaptation of the clbadic fantasy novel of (part of) Neil Gaiman, was a hit for Starz. Well done and visually succulent, he also stretched, because he only adapted the first third of Gaiman's book. After a few swirls behind the scenes, American gods will be back for a second season on Sunday, March 10th. The latest trailer details the premise of the series, so you have to wonder if it was recorded specifically to attract new fans, because who would need this show explained to them?
It's Ian McShane speaking, like the old god Mr. Wednesday, aka [SPOILER]. If you do not read the book, you will discover who it is soon enough. On the basis of the trailer, season 2 will feature the meeting of the ancient gods at the House of the Rock in Wisconsin, where Mr. Wednesday sets out his plan to fight back against the new gods who take the place of the elders in the mind. and the hearts of people.
I hope the new season will be good. Ricky Whittle embodies the main character of Shadow Moon, and the producers are not short of imagination, but as a fan of the book, I could not avoid the annoying feeling that the first season was leading me. Hopefully things will start again in season 2.
If this interests you, Starz also released the first few minutes of the new season, featuring the new gods engaged in an internal struggle.
"It's a time of preparation," says Mr. World (Crispin Glover). In a way, I do not think I will fulfill my wish.
