Lil Wayne pays homage to a rising superstar left too early with a new video for "Don & # 39; t Cry" a XXXTentaciona song of his Tha Carter V album. Tunechi filed the video at midnight today (23 January).
In the visual, Weezy finds himself in a mystical world filled with sages. Throughout the video, which was directed by Jay and Georgio Rodriguez, Weezy sits on a throne or kicks with a woman while he utters the lyrics of the song.
The XXX tribute is heard throughout the video when X's live archive footage flashes on the screen. The video ends with a crowd chanting "Long live X."
The track itself is where X finds a pbadionate hook with instructions to hold back your tears. For his part, Weezy spits out about his struggles in recent years.
