The search for a carried plane that was carrying Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala has resumed.
The 28-year-old Argentine striker is one of two people aboard the plane who lost contact off Alderney in the Channel Islands on Monday night.
Sala reportedly sent a WhatsApp voicemail message to his family, saying that he was "really scared".
The Argentine media reported that he had said, "I am in a plane that seems to be collapsing."
Five planes and two lifeboats traveled more than 1,000 square kilometers looking for traces of the Piper Malibu aircraft on Tuesday.
And searches continued early on Wednesday.
Guernsey Police tweeted: "Two planes take off and will search a targeted area that we believe has the highest probability of finding anything, according to the tides and the weather since their disappearance."
Sala was heading to the Welsh capital after signing for the Bluebirds of the French club Nantes in a contract of 15 million pounds.
Cardiff's manager said the club had been left "in shock".
Air and sea crews from the Channel Islands, France and the United Kingdom took part in a 15 hour search on Tuesday, but found no trace of the aircraft or its occupants.
The Guernsey police were unable to confirm whether the floating objects seen belonged to the aircraft and warned that the chances of survival of the pbadengers were "slim".
