Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was commended for breathing new life into Manchester United by echoing Sir Alex Ferguson of former United goalie Tim Howard.
The abundance has changed since Solskjaer took power after the dismissal of Jose Mourinho a month ago and current and former players were quick to congratulate the Norwegian for his principles and tactics.
The latest to congratulate Solskjaer on his impact is former United goalkeeper Tim Howard, who has announced that he will retire at the end of the season.
"You always want to see Manchester United up there, it's there that they deserve to be," Howard told Press Sports Association.
"Obviously, with Ole Gunnar playing and playing a style that is very familiar to him and echoing some of Sir Alex Ferguson's ideas: play forward, pbad ahead, put the teams on the ground and be aggressive.
"You can see that they have the players to do it and that they just needed the flaw to clear themselves out." Ole Gunnar gave them that new life.
Howard, who played for United between 2003 and 2007, announced that he would retire from Colorado Rapids at the end of the season after three years at the club.
The American made 45 appearances for United after replacing Fabien Barthez in 2013 before arguing with Roy Carroll for the position of goalkeeper of choice for the next 18 months.
United signed Edwin van der Sar and Howard went on loan for Everton in 2006.
