A brother of two very old brothers based in the Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo District of the Northern Region was stabbed to death by his brother as a result of a disagreement during a dog meat ritual for their deceased father, MyNewsGh.com.

The incident occurred yesterday at approximately 7:45 pm when police, Bunkpurugu, received a distress call from a member of the Gbingbani Electoral District, the Honorable Dawuni Richard.

Although the exact cause of the fight is still unknown, the two brothers, 52-year-old Nwenle Takia and 50-year-old Bignani Takia, started the fight for a small goat and cooked dog meat in Piabuni. a village near Gbingbani, after the sacrifice of their late father.

During the process, Nwenle Takia, the elder took out a knife and stabbed Bignani Takia on his left armpit, top left of his left chest and on his testicle.

His body was sent to Faith Community Hospital in Nakpanduri, where a post mortem examination was conducted.

The body has since been handed over to the family for burial while the Nwenle Takia is in custody.
