Last week, the Canadian band introduced some of the new songs from The Strombo show. You can listen to them here:

Last year, the group released its first new music in seven years. Deciding to meet after a period of absence, the group's co-founder, Kevin Drew, said he "was looking to get back on stage with my family and make connections with people."

Drew then revealed that it was the terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015 that reinforced the group's decision to reform.

"The reason we met was after the shooting in Paris. Everybody phoned our little tribe and said, "I want to play a few shows," he said.

"It's interesting because somebody told me that the tribe called Quest was kind of their story." I think it affected a lot of people because it was so close to home. So close to home.

The group EP will be released on February 15th.
