Sargodha: Family harbades polio workers and locks them in a room
SARGODHA: A polio team was attacked and harbaded by a family who refused to drop their children in Sargodha on Thursday.
According to information provided by the police, a man named Shamsher refused polio drops when a team of polio workers administered them nearby, in Kot Raja, Sargodha.
The man, along with his family, then verbally abused polio workers and even locked them in a room when they were warned of lawsuits.
The police registered a case against five suspects and opened an investigation. However, he has not arrested a suspect yet.
