Ambbadador of Morocco to Ghana, Mohamed Farahat
The Moroccan ambbadador to Ghana, Mohamed Farahat, urged the family of the late investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale to trust the police and wait patiently for the outcome of the investigations.
He says that Ahmed's death is not a loss for his family, but for the entire country.
"I want to express my condolences to the family of Ahmed Hussein-Suale and to the media fraternity in general.
"We were all affected by the badbadination of the investigative reporter. We should be calm and trust investigations to bring criminals to accounting. "
The diplomat spoke with 3news.com during a working visit to Kumasi to meet Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
An investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, was shot dead by motorcycle strangers on Wednesday, January 16 as he was returning home from home.
Ahmed was shot in the chest and once on his neck in Madina, Accra.
He has since been buried.
The police investigate the crime in order to expose the attackers.
