Alhaji Alhbadan Tapsoba, former deputy coordinator of the Agency for the Development of Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship in Ghana (now missing), was taken over by Bureau officials of National Investigations (BNI).
His arrest was confirmed by the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (CND), Kwame Zuh, at the morning show of Kumasi in Kumasi 104.1 FM on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
Zuh said Mr. Tapsoba was arrested Monday in Kumasi while he was at home with his wife and children.
The suspect has since been transported to BNI headquarters in Accra.
Mr. Zuh said that Mr. Tapsoba's family and the party had learned that the strangers who had recovered from the BNI after filing a complaint at the regional police station three days later.
Kwesi Agudey, the host of the US television channel, gave no reason for arresting Mr. Tapsoba, adding that she had a political motivation.
