As noted, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Information Letter there is a "very good chance" that WWE RAW Champion Ronda Rousey will be eliminated after the WWE WrestleMania, or the backlash pay-per-view in May. Last June, we reported for the first time that WWE sources informed Wrestling Inc. that Rousey had signed a multi-year contract. TMZ confirmed today this report, stating that a WWE spokesperson had told them that Rousey's WWE contract expired on April 10, 2021.

Rousey may still be taking a break from the WWE. Pro Wrestling Sheet Rousey informed WWE last November that it was likely that she would take a break after the WrestleManiaHowever, this is not yet engraved in stone.

Rousey has openly talked about starting a family soon. Even before making his WWE debut last April at WrestleMania 34Said Rousey Yahoo Sports that she and her husband, Travis Browne, were "ready to have kids soon", but she initially wanted to give a boost to the WWE.
