Victor Moses is said to have performed a medical examination at Fenerbahce, before making a loan that will allow him to join the Turkish team until the end of the season.

That comes after the 28-year-old has made two appearances in the Premier League this season, falling out of favor with the new director, Maurizio Sarri, and ending speculation linking Crystal Palace back in January.

Sky sports say that he has completed a medical examination and that an official announcement seems imminent.

He will join a team competing in the Super Lig, 15th after 18 games, and will join former Tottenham and Real Madrid striker Roberto Soldado, as well as striker Islam Slimani of Leicester City.

The news will come as bitter as Chelsea's persuasion, as Moses played a key role as the right-back in the team that won the 2016/17 Premier League title under Antonio Conte, but the arrival of Maurizio Sarri and The return of the player to the back left the Nigerian international without a place.

He managed only 176 minutes of action in six appearances in all competitions, with Eden Hazard, Pedro, Willian and Callum Hudson – Odoi all in front of him in the order of places.

He has not started a Premier League match with Sarri and has not even formed a match since the September draw with Liverpool. The decision to make it evolve is therefore not surprising.
