The defense team in the case involving Gregory Afoko filed his case
The trial of Gregory Afoko, accused of murdering New Patriotic Party (NPP) President Adams Mahama in the Upper East region, is coming to an end with the defense team filing his case.

The prosecution told the court that Afoko, who appeared in court since 2016, had poured acid on the executive of the NPP, which has now pbaded away.
The state, headed by Mathew Amponsah, an attorney general, called 14 witnesses, including Hajia Zeinabu Adams, the wife of the deceased, to testify against Afoko.
He opened his defense last December and denied the charges against him.
