Chelsea defenseman Matt Miazga became Reading's fifth signing in January.
The 23-year-old American signed a loan deal on Friday morning and is playing in the last 18 games of the campaign.
Miazga joins Ovie Ejaria, Lewis Baker, Nelson Oliveira and Emiliano Martinez to become Royals for the rest of the season.
The center back could debut next Tuesday in the match against Bolton Wanderers.

Born in New Jersey to Polish parents, Miazga joined the New York Red Bulls Academy in 2009 and helped the club at the US Soccer Development Academy's national championship in 2012.

His debut took place a year later, at the age of 18, during a match against the Houston Dynamo.

In 2015, he joined Chelsea for a four-and-a-half year contract.

For the 2016/17 and 17/18 seasons, he was loaned to Eredivise's Vitese Arnhem and played alongside his fellow countryman Royals loanee Baker.

Miazga played a total of 72 games for the Dutch club, scoring five times.

The 6-foot-4 central back joined the league spent the first half of the season on loan in Ligue 1 with Nantes, playing nine matches.

On the international scene, Miazga is a young regular international in the United States. He helped his country reach the quarter-finals of the U-20 World Cup in 2015.

He entered the senior team in November of the same year and has since won 11 selections in total.

Miazga, whose contract with Chelsea expires in June 2022, is a defender of the right foot and its market value is £ 2.7 million, according to transfermarkt.
His list of honor includes the Netherlands Cup with Speed 2017 and the Gold Cup with the United States in 2017 and 2018.
