Supporters love Chelsea Jorginho midfielder's bizarre penalty for Tottenham

Jorginho may not have won much praise from Chelsea fans in recent weeks, but the mbades have gone crazy for the Italian as a result of his conversion to a penalty kick in the Carabao with Tottenham.

Taking a big run forward, the playmaker made a strange leap in approaching the ball, which apparently prompted goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga to choose his dive direction.

As the goalkeeper began to make a move to the right, Jorginho continued, continuing his run deep and calmly placing the ball in the opposite corner.

Fans immediately marveled at the nerve of the old Naples man and used social media to share their reactions.

Chelsea herself started the evening tweeting: "We have a lot of love for Jorginho's penalty."

A fan simply responded by saying, "Ice in your veins!"

Another added that midfield shots "should be a criminal offense."

Jorginho's teammate, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, has not hesitated to resist this unusual technique, tweeting a video of a comic who jumps on a golf course.

The technique, however, is not entirely new and was seen in the MLS as performed by Atlanta striker Josef Martinez – another fan reported online with the use of a video.

Thanks to this victory, Chelsea will play its 15th final in 16 years, in all competitions, and will face Pep Guardiola's Manchester City on the evening of February 24th.
