He continued, "We must not fear the strategy of our enemies, but our own mistakes. Dagbon does not have to fear an outside enemy. Dagbon is a large state, one of the oldest traditional states in our history.
"He survived many marauding forces and repelled many enemies. Dagbon can only be knelt down by internal dissatisfaction, and it is our collective duty and our collective interest to repel them. "
