A 16-year-old boy was reportedly murdered in Takoradi, Western Region.
Eugene Kweku Gyamerah was reported missing on January 23, but his dead body was discovered early Friday night at Monkey Hill, a popular forest reserve in Takoradi.
His alleged badbadination sparked fear and panic in the Sekondi / Takoradi metropolis, especially among his peers at Bishop Essuah's JHS school.
The body was deposited at Effia Nkwanta Hospital for autopsy.
The deceased is the grandson of Mr. Gyamera, a popular entrepreneur from the Sekondi / Takoradi metropolis, who was killed in mysterious circumstances about 20 years ago at the new Effiakuma site.
Takoradi police told 3news.com they had opened an investigation into the alleged murder.
