Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly failed in its attempt to reach a permanent agreement with Atletico Madrid defender Jonny.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been informed that they would not be able to sign Jonny on a permanent agreement.
Atletico Madrid signed Jonny de Celta Vigo during the summer and immediately allowed the versatile back to spend the season in the Premier League with the Wolves.
The 24-year-old was a resounding success at Molineux with 21 starts in all competitions and international debut with Spain.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Boss of Atletico Diego Simeone intends to use Jonny in his team next season and will not allow wolves to buy the player.
Jonny 's already established in La Liga, with 183 appearances in the highest ranking of Spain between 2012 and 2018.
